When the dome opened at'U a.m. the stampede began and didn't let up until 4 that afternoon.
The sale was the grand finale of two months of bard work by the teens in the Culver City Youth Coordinating Council. They collected rummage all summer and stored it in garages of various members. The rummage was do nated fay residents from all over the Los Angeles area in response to numerous news' paper articles and flyers. The morning of the sale the teens hauled and sorted the rummage from 7 a.m. until they opened.
A lot of hard work paid off for the Youth Council; they raised more than $800 from the items they had collected.
