This journal currently carries no sponsored content. This page states the rules any future support would follow, so the reader can hold us to them.
Picket Thill Field Notes carries no sponsored content today. The site sells no links, no placements and no reviews, and no page of advice owes anything to a buyer. This page exists because a journal that might one day accept support should state its rules before the money arrives, not after.
The rules, in advance
Support, if it ever comes, would be labelled in plain words at the top of the page, in a sentence a fast reader cannot miss. It would never live inside the guides’ advice, never inside the tables, and never anywhere near the release practices or access etiquette pages, which are the journal’s spine. It would buy no opinion: no rankings exist here to buy, and none will be created to fill. Every labelled page would remain subject to the editorial policy, and the ledger of what ran, where and when would be available to any reader who asks through the contact page.
What would never be sold
No mention inside a checklist in exchange for inclusion. No quiet affiliate structure. No review of gear the desk has not carried in ordinary use. No guide or outfitter ranking, since the journal declines the ranking business entirely. And no page that pretends a booking exists; the site is a desk, not a reservation window, as the about page states.
